Lillen & Doris is a Scandinavian story universe created for children who love imagination, friendship and everyday adventures.
At the heart of the world lies Balloon Island – a place where curiosity, warmth and imagination are free to grow. It is home to Felia, Bonnie, Malia, Doll-Doll, Ernst, Aura and Murri, seven friends who explore new places, help others and discover the magic hidden within ordinary moments.
What began as a small creative project has grown into a world of stories, characters and products, where every part is designed to inspire imagination, comfort and a lifelong love of storytelling.
The stories of Lillen & Doris follow the friends' adventures from Balloon Island to new worlds beyond The Great Tree.
Each book explores themes such as friendship, courage, kindness, curiosity and emotional growth through gentle, timeless storytelling.
Today, the stories are available in multiple languages, and the universe continues to expand with new books, characters and adventures.
Lillen & Doris brings together both storytelling and products.
The Classic Collection features our original character designs and organic children's clothing inspired by timeless Scandinavian design.
The Storybook Collection draws inspiration directly from the books and characters, allowing stories and products to come together in a meaningful way.
Our vision is to create a timeless story universe that children can return to again and again.
Through stories, characters and creative products, we aim to offer a world where imagination, friendship and curiosity can grow at their own pace.
Sustainability is an important part of Lillen & Doris.
We strive to create products with care for both people and the environment by using organic materials and working with suppliers who follow international standards for quality, safety and social responsibility.
Our clothing is designed in Sweden and manufactured in China by carefully selected suppliers. When choosing a manufacturing partner, it was important for us to work with producers who meet high standards for quality, safety, sustainability and working conditions.
We work with certified materials and suppliers who follow internationally recognised standards for quality, labour practices and sustainability. Our partners are certified according to standards including OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, BSCI and ISO 9001.
