Who are we?
Lillen&Doris was founded in 2023 and is a Swedish brand from Kungsbacka. The idea for Lillen&Doris was born from a desire to design fun, playful, soft and comfortable children's clothing that fits comfortably. Everything we design is made from organic and sustainable materials with the highest quality and a nice and comfortable fit.
Organic clothing is gentle on your child's skin. Children's skin is more sensitive to hazardous substances because their bodies are not fully developed. The smallest children often suck or put the sleeve of a shirt in their mouth, which makes them more exposed to chemicals. By buying organic clothing, you avoid hazardous chemicals that can harm your child.
Our design aims to attract the child's imagination. It is not always obvious what figures are on the garments, but often the child's imagination decides. All designs are created by us in Sweden by hand.
Sustainability
All production affects us and our environment.
For us at Lillen&Doris, there is a strong focus on manufacturing as sustainably as possible. We believe in taking responsibility for our planet and creating a better future for future generations. That is why we have chosen to offer clothes that are not only beautiful and comfortable, but also made with care for the environment.
We strive to minimize our impact on nature by offering clothes that are made from organic materials. By choosing organic cotton and other natural fibers, we reduce the use of chemical pesticides and other chemicals, which protects both the earth and human health. Lillen&Doris designs many garments with patterns, but we do not customize the garments, in this way we contribute to reduced waste in production.
It is also important for us to ensure fair working conditions and human rights throughout the production chain. We only cooperate with manufacturers who follow international standards for social responsibility and work to ensure that workers receive reasonable wages and good working conditions. Our suppliers are certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, GOTS, CPSIA and are accredited according to BSCI and ISO9001.
